Champions of History provides finely sculpted 28mm miniatures, both male and female, both fictional and non-fictional, of heroes,
villains, and archetypes from throughout the history of our species. Most of the characters here could easily be used in
any of a variety of settings, including our own rules. All have been produced because, at one point or another, somebody, somewhere,
wanted a miniature. Think of this range as a gallery of human endeavour, for better or for worse.

Indiana born Dillinger turned his tactical skills,
his amazing ability for gunsmithing, and innate knolwedge of human nature to his advantage, executing a string of successful
bank robberies across the Midwest in the early twentieth century. Dillinger was, in no uncertain terms, a criminal, but he was also
a man of ethics. Despite Hollywood claims, he was not a cop killer. He was offended by violence against women and was known to give
portions of his thefts to the poor. Sculpted n 28mm by Leandro Ventic.
CH06 - Mata Hari, Woman of Mystery $5.00

Dutch born
Mata Hari escaped an abusive marriage to live a life of intrigue and adventure as an exotic dancer, courtesan, and woman of the world.
She was the darling of intellectual salons and burlesque reviews across Europe. She was (falsely) accused of being a German spy by
the French in 1917, and was executed for her supposed crimes. She may actually have served the French or British as a double agent;
some have said that she was a scapegoat for the failure of French offensives of the period. This miniature depicts Mata in one of
her favorite costumes, performing a dance move, doubtless to ensare some unsuspecting gentleman. Sculpted in 28mm by Leandro Ventic.
